how many people can play at the same time?

Each themed escape challenge is listed with its own player minimums and maximums.

If you book with a smaller number of players you may be in the room with people not from your party. We recommend booking all slots if you would like it to be a private event.

How long does it last?

You will have 60, 75 or 90 minutes depending on the room. After your time is up we will have a quick recap of your session and pictures with you.

Is the room REALLY LOCKED?

Not anymore! You always have the ability to step out for a phone call or bathroom break (or any reason) now if you need it.

What should we bring with us?

Bring only your friends and mad puzzle solving skills! 

Personal items including purses and phones are allowed in the room with you if you bring those, and we provide you with a place to store your items in the room.

What happens if we don’t escape in time?

Don't worry! At the end of 60 (or 75 or 90) minutes whether you solve the puzzle or not, the room will be unlocked and we’ll touch on whatever you may have had left to do!

CAN I SCHEDULE A TIME OUTSIDE OF THE SET booking TIMES?

Yes! But you will need to give us a call. If you want to request a special time, you will need to book for a full 10 people regardless of the number of people in your group.

What if my group is smaller than the minimum?

Don't worry you have several options: 

• First option is to come up with your own group of at least the minimum number of people, even if that means postponing until a later date.

• *Second option is to call us @ 507-4000-FUN and see if there are other groups to join that day or other folks that we know of that are in the same boat as you and see what works best.

• And the third option (which is not recommended) is to pay for the remaining spot(s) yourself.

Do your rooms actually require the minimum number of players?

Yes, they do. Oftentimes physically, but certainly mentally as well! Our rooms require teamwork and splitting up at times which simply cannot be done with too few participants.

In the end we all want the same thing which is for players to have an amazing time, love their experience and not feel overwhelmed or leave feeling like it was impossible.

What if my group is larger than 10 people?

First things first, give us a call: our number is 507-4000-FUN (507-400-0386). We've taken care of lots of groups that were between 10 and 40 people and we've even had several groups as large as 60 to 98 and still had room to spare. Whatever the group and whatever the occasion, we can make sure you all have the time of your lives with UNRAVELED!

Do you have a private party room off to the side?

We don’t have a party room off to the side at our new location; instead of having that mostly empty space we decided to expand the sizes of all the rooms, so we can give our players an even better experience!

We do however have quite a large lobby area with a long bench, long table and chairs which has many times been used by groups as a gathering place for people with presents, pizza, cupcakes, etc.

How old do participants need to be; is it kid friendly or is it scary?

Anyone who would like to participate can do so freely. This is an exciting puzzle-solving activity for all ages and is not meant to be scary. We've hosted many children's parties and they all have an absolute blast!

*BONUS TIP* Any child 5 and under is free with one paid admission (minimum 1 to 1 ratio)

Do I have to make a reservation?

Yes. You must book ahead of time online. If you are looking for a same day reservation you could also give us a call and we can let you know if there is any availability.

What happens if I cancel my reservation?

If you let us know that you can't make it at least 48 hours ahead of time we will work with you to reschedule your group or ‘cancellation insurance’ ($3/person) can also be purchased as an add-on in case you think there is a likelihood of that happening. 

Do you ever offer discounts or offers?

We will sometimes send out posts to Facebook and other social media sites for a time-sensitive call to action that may result in free or discounted admissions, so make sure you 'like' us on Facebook and tell your friends to do the same! We also send out emails, just a few each year, to anyone that has booked with us for some special announcements and offers as well.
